Finally: Dessert
Indulgent Double Chocolate Avocado Mousse
All you need is:
- 2 ripe avocados, cubed
- 100g honey
- 40g cacao powder
- 20g cacao nibs or unsweetened chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- ½ tsp almond extract (my favourite!)
- ½ tsp chia powder (optional)
All you need to do is:
In a blender, mix the milk, cacao powder, nibs, chia powder, honey, almond extract and avocado flesh until smooth. Add a little more honey or even a little lime juice if you don’t feel it’s sweet enough or needs the cacao to be broken up slightly. Now you can scoop it into ramekins, refrigerate for 1 hour and, once set, it’s ready to serve up! Sprinkle with a few flaked nuts to decorate.
